Why use UML ml?

It's simply the fastest way to make Sequence Diagrams.
Diagrams are generated as you type.
Vector based diagrams import and/or paste into MS Word quickly and painlessly.
Diagrams can be copied out of Word for further modification.
Native EMF format allows compatibility with all versions of Microsoft Word without any plug-ins
Native windows application, which provides complience with confidentiality requirements of many organizations (as opposed to webapps which generate your diagram on an external server).

Why was the name changed from UMLscript?
The name UML Script was not unique enough, thus the strange name UMLml
Can I import into my favorite program?
If your program supports JPEG images or Bitmaps, yes. If it can take in vector based formats like EMF (Windows Enhanced Metafile) even better.
Wouldn't a webapp be better?
Many organizations have confidentiality requirements that prohibit the use of webapps when dealing with confidential information, which means you might be violating an employment guideline without even realizing it. Keeping the information local to your network is often very desireable.
